History
JFC Inc., a Member of the Mangione Family Enterprises Group, traces its origin to Fred Allnutt Excavating, which started performing house excavating and grading work in August 1967 with a single loader.
In 1977, the business moved into its current location in Ellicott City, MD and later changed its name to JFC Inc. as the business expanded to include site development for commercial, industrial, and institutional sites, and added clearing, utilities, and paving to its excavating services. Today, JFC has one of the most modern offices and a full service repair shop and storage yard to maintain our large fleet of specialized earth moving equipment and vehicles.
Over the years, JFC has performed excavation projects that ranged from residential developments with thousands of single and multi-family units to commercial industrial sites to single private residential projects.
In 1982, JFC added engineering and stakeout work to its list of services, enabling the company to stakeout sites and provide immediate cut-sheets.
Our experience enables us to identify and anticipate design problems and offer corrective alternatives, often with sizable savings to the developers & owners.
